TIR stands for “Transports Internationaux Routiers”. This is a customs convention for the international transportation of goods. TIR cable is used in open-top containers and the truck tarpaulin industry. The TIR cable is produced entirely in accordance with directives from the 1975 TIR convention.
TIR CABLE WITH STEEL CORE
Plastic cable with a core containing at least four separate steel structures that sheath a textile thread so that the steel is not visible.
Material: PVC Shore-A 80 with PP + steel wire core. Also available with sisal or braided PP core.
Application: Truck tarpaulin industry for international transport with TIR lock.
Dimensions: External diameter of 6 or 8 mm
Packaging: Packed onto rolls of 100, 250 or 500 metres, and at any desired length with end pieces.
TIR CABLE WITH POLYPROPYLENE CORE
Plastic cable with a polypropylene core.
Core material: Braided polypropylene with a diameter of 3.5 mm
Application: Truck tarpaulin industry, trailers or small trailers. Due to its flexibility, this product is extremely user friendly and suitable for extensive use.
Diameter: 6 – 8 mm
Lengths: On a roll 100/250/500 metres. Specific packaging on request.
