Due to the increase of large format printers for both PVC banners and textile frames, the demand for solutions for fixing printed cloths to aluminium frames has dramatically increased. Printed fabric cloth in aluminium frames is used for the construction of exhibition stands, for example, in stores as an eye-catcher, or as a Point-Of-Sales communication aid. Textile frames are also being increasingly used in museums, offices and interiors. Roffelsen Plastics has been the leading supplier of the most widely used flat keder for making up printed cloths for over 10 years, and they are continuing to extend the product range further. They also produce welded PVC cord for tightening printed truck tarpaulins. We produce the products below for the sign industry.

FLAT KEDER

The flat keder is stitched onto printed textile cloths and ensures the canvas can be attached to the aluminium frame. The scope of application for textile frames is very wide, such as: LED frames, stand construction, retail and interiors. Roffelsen Plastics is the expert in the field of flat keder and produces these in a wide variety of designs, sizes and elasticities.

SPECIFICATION

Material: PVC, ‘Silicone Replacement’ and TPE

Dimensions: Many other dimensions are available in addition to the standard 14 x 3 mm.

Surface: Smooth or ridge

Colour: Transparent blue, white or grey. Other colours are available on request.

Packaging: Standard package of 200 metres. On a roll, cardboard reel or plastic reel.

SELF-ADHESIVE FLAT KEDER

The base of the Self-adhesive flat keder is the flat Premium SRK (Silicone Replacement Keder) This is a recyclable non-PVC, top end product, with the same elasticity as the silicone strip. This self-adhesive flat keder can easily be attached to the printed textile.
