SIGN-INDUSTRY
Plastic products for the Sign industry (SOFT SIGNAGE)
Due to the increase of large format printers for both PVC banners and textile frames, the demand for solutions for fixing printed cloths to aluminium frames has dramatically increased. Printed fabric cloth in aluminium frames is used for the construction of exhibition stands, for example, in stores as an eye-catcher, or as a Point-Of-Sales communication aid. Textile frames are also being increasingly used in museums, offices and interiors. Roffelsen Plastics has been the leading supplier of the most widely used flat PVC cord for making up printed cloths for over 10 years, and they are continuing to extend the product range further. They also produce welded PVC cord for tightening printed truck tarpaulins. We produce the products below for the sign industry.

FLAT KEDER

The flat keder is stitched to printed textile cloths and ensures the canvas can be attached to the aluminium frame. The self-adhesive version of the flat keder can easily be attached to the printed textile.
HAMMER KEDER

The hammer keder is specially made if stitching to the textile cloth is not possible. The hammer keder is positioned over the printed cloth and then hammered into the aluminium profile.
SPATULA KEDER

The spatula keder, made from PVC, is specifically designed for situations where a sewing machine is unavailable or stitching the printed textile is not desired. The spatula keder secures the fabric by pressing it into the aluminum profile frame using a spatula. Its range of applications includes solutions for large-format prints in stand construction, as well as custom LED fabric frames for retail and interior spaces.
FLAG PVC CORD

The flag PVC cord is a PVC cord profile. The plastic flag can be welded or stitched directly to the PVC cloth.
SELF-ADHESIVE FLAT KEDER

The spatula keder, made from PVC, is specifically designed for situations where a sewing machine is unavailable or stitching the printed textile is not desired. The spatula keder secures the fabric by pressing it into the aluminum profile frame using a spatula.
